KENN JACOBSEN: NEWLY SELECTED UMBRACO BACKOFFICE TEAM MEMBER

We are proud to announce that Kenn Jacobsen, System Architect & Umbraco Lead at IMPACT, has been selected once again to join the newly established Umbraco Backoffice Team. The backoffice team will function as a sounding board while the new Umbraco CMS backoffice is implemented.

Kenn Jacobsen is no Umbraco novice. For 11+ years, he has been working professionally with Umbraco and building customer-specific backoffice extensions that ensure optimal editor experiences. A decade later, making life easier for editors and providing a flexible system is still his main driver:

I’ve been building with and for Umbraco for many years, and editor experience has always been a main focus of mine. Being part of the Umbraco backoffice team will give me even more extensive insights and knowledge into how to plan and advise IMPACT customers on their Umbraco solutions. I look forward to influencing Umbraco products, keeping them attractive and helpful for everyone to use in their everyday work

WHAT IS THE UMBRACO BACKOFFICE TEAM ALL ABOUT?

Umbraco is an open-source CMS (Content Management System) partly driven by a highly skilled community of developers, UI&UX’ers, packagers and QAs. The new backoffice project will bring Umbraco CMS up to date with a complete replacement of the current backoffice. Kenn Jacobsen and six other bright-minded and knowledgeable Umbraco experts ensure that the new backoffice continues to be flexible and simple to work with

With Umbraco we’re able to tailor and extend the editor experience with relative ease making it possible to build something intuitive for editors. My main motivation for joining the Backoffice Community Team again is to ensure that the backoffice remains extendable and flexible, enabling all of us to create tailored editor experiences.
