Executive Roundtable: Omnichannel Index 2026

An invite-only lunch for senior retail and commerce leaders on what’s changing, what’s becoming expected – and what deserves attention now.

AI is reshaping the customer journey. Expectations are rising fast, and yesterday’s differentiators are quickly becoming today’s baseline.

When more and more becomes baseline, where do you still choose to be genuinely better?

On 1 October, we’re bringing a small group of senior leaders from retail and commerce together in Göteborg to explore that question.

We’ll start with fresh findings from the Omnichannel Index 2026, created by IMPACT Commerce in collaboration with Google, including perspectives beyond the published report.

To bring the findings into a real-world perspective Per-Mattias Nordkvist, Managing Director at IMPACT, will share his experience and reflections on what the data means in practice.

From there, the conversation moves to the room:

  • What are the leading brands already doing differently?
  • What is becoming expected faster than many organisations realise?
  • Where might the data not tell the full story? And when everything cannot be prioritised at once, what deserves attention first?

WHY THIS CONVERSATION NOW?

See what is already changing

Explore where AI, personalisation and customer expectations are moving – and what leading brands are already doing differently.

Challenge what really creates an advantage

Some of yesterday’s differentiators are quickly becoming expected. We’ll discuss where there is still room to stand out – and where investment is increasingly simply the cost of keeping up.

Sharpen your priorities

No organisation can do everything at once. Compare perspectives with other senior leaders and explore what deserves attention now, what can wait and what may matter less than we think.

Meet the contributors

Per-Mattias has spent around 25 years working at the intersection of commerce, technology and business transformation, helping organisations navigate changing customer expectations and evolving digital priorities.

He will highlight the findings he believes are most relevant and use them to open up the discussion around the table.

The Index is a starting point for a conversation about what the data tells us, what it does not tell us and what that means in practice.

WHO SHOULD BE AROUND THE TABLE?

This lunch is designed for senior leaders responsible for digital commerce, customer experience, technology and transformation in retail and consumer brands.

We’re keeping the group small to make the conversation more open and valuable.
