Moscord: Transforming maritime procurement with agentic B2B commerce
Moscord's B2B procurement marketplace handles more than 100,000 products across ports, currencies, and suppliers worldwide. The agentic commerce platform lowers delivery mistakes from 20% to 2%.

Reduction in procurement costs.
In Singapore – home to the world’s busiest port – Moscord is revolutionising the marine industry with its new global marketplace and procurement platform.
The ship supply industry has historically relied on middlemen and fragmented processes, resulting in inefficient processes that waste time, money, and resources.
Moscord flips the traditional model: the marketplace – co-created and developed by IMPACT – is cutting out middlemen and lets AI agents handle most of the work, with thousands of order lines coming in each week.
IMPACT understands complex B2B commerce and procurement, and they have deep knowledge of the marine industry. Their consultancy goes far beyond AI and agentic, because they have experts in all parts of commerce.
Disrupting a billion-dollar industry
Moscord’s platform is deeply integrated with global B2B commerce across ports, currencies, and more than 100,000 products from suppliers worldwide – a unique platform that eliminates costly steps and lowers delivery mistakes from 20% to 2%.
The marketplace is catering to the 70.000 merchant ships worldwide. A market where every ship spends an estimated half a million US dollars on maintenance every year = a market that annually spends +30 billion USD.
The proprietary platform for all of this, Apollo, handles everything from product selection and logistics to paperwork and financing. Trade financing has been integrated in a partnership with a global bank as part of a secure, scalable, end-to-end commerce solution ready for growth.
Cutting costs by up to 40%
Traditional maritime procurement involves multiple handovers – from the ship crew to procurement teams, to suppliers and subcontractors.
Each handoff introduces delays, miscommunication, and price markups.
Moscord’s platform reduces these steps dramatically, cutting procurement costs by up to 40% and reducing delivery errors through cleaner data and direct supplier access.
A bespoke B2B order engine
Built on AWS, the platform features a bespoke B2B order engine with product catalogues, dynamic pricing, RFQ handling, integrated payments, and all necessary documentation digitised and centralised.
The world’s oceans are vast, and ships dock in unpredictable locations. A big challenge is to deliver strategic collaborations between purchasers and suppliers.
Moscord has the ability to enable big companies and small suppliers with easily accessible catalogues and predetermined prices.
“Moscord is a unique commerce business, with a lot of potential. We are happy to see, that it is already experiencing growing demand and that’s exactly why we helped build a scalable solution ready for AI Agents and other future development,” says Ask Ullerup, CTO at IMPACT Commerce.
Unique collaboration
IMPACT Commerce and Moscord have invented and created the Apollo platform together.
The unique partnership with a vendor setup for the startup company has created an integrated collaboration, where several experts from IMPACT Commerce has helped build the platform. Members of the IMPACT management team even invested in Moscord, and Ask Ullerup is an official member of the Board of Moscord.
“Being able to bring Moscord’s vision to life is truly rewarding. It is the future to build such a heavy B2B platform with AI. The strong collaboration is a first-class example of how we can disrupt a worldwide industry,” says Ask Ullerup.
Going forward IMPACT Commerce will advise on strategy, build tailored AI systems and agents, and train Moscord’s team to integrate and manage these technologies effectively.
