Marina NielsenSenior Director in Experience Design, IMPACT Commerce

Throughout her career, Marina Nielsen has been part of delivering award-winning solutions – from driving lifts in online sales to cutting customer-care load through intelligent solutions. Her work has won awards for best customer experience and best innovative use of technology.

“Marina understands that great experience design isn’t decoration – it’s a growth lever for B2B’s. Her ability to connect customer needs with measurable commercial impact is exactly what our clients look for,” Troels Bille Haugstrup, Senior Partner and CSO at IMPACT Commerce, says.

Setting a high bar

Marina has taken over leadership of the CX team in B2B and joined the Management Team – a key role in IMPACT Commerce where she’ll help shape and drive our Experience Design strategy and value proposition.

She comes with a clear ambition to elevate impact with existing clients:

“I’m deeply passionate about partnering with our customers to shape truly impactful digital experiences. Whether you’re a distributor or a manufacturer, my focus is on harmonising business aspirations and user insights with the opportunities of digital commerce,” Marina Nielsen shares.

With expertise spanning insight-driven design, advanced tech (GenAI, 3D), and leading executive-level steerco meetings, Marina is a strong fit for IMPACT’s clients.

Strategic digital leadership

Marina Nielsen brings practical experience with next-generation innovation. From scaling VELUX’s Global Consumer Services to building a human-like AI Agent, she combines leadership, innovation, and technical understanding. She knows how to take organisations from idea to execution and how to keep the customer at the centre throughout.

“Marina has that potent mix of strategic clarity and practical depth. She can set direction for a digital vision – and then work side-by-side with teams to make it real. That makes her invaluable to clients navigating experience-design complexity,” Troels Bille Haugstrup says.

Alongside her strategic strengths, Marina brings empathy, commercial thinking, and a collaborative approach that builds trust across projects and leadership teams.

“What stands out about Marina is how quickly she builds trust. She listens, understands the business drivers, and brings teams with her,” Troels Bille Haugstrup adds.
