Rooted in surf culture and streetwear heritage, Ericeira Surf & Skate is one of Portugal’s most recognised lifestyle retailers. The brand has grown from a single store in the coastal town of Ericeira to 20 physical locations across Portugal and a growing online presence across Europe.

To strengthen the connection between physical and digital channels, Despomar Group partnered with IMPACT Commerce to design, develop and implement a new Adobe Commerce platform with Adyen as the payment provider. The result is a scalable omnichannel setup that brings speed, simplicity and performance across every customer touchpoint.

Together, IMPACT Commerce and Despomar built a unified commerce platform powered by Adobe Commerce and Adyen, connecting inventory, fulfilment and payments into one cohesive ecosystem.

What the numbers show

The new setup has already made a noticeable difference to how customers interact with Ericeira online. In the first three months, revenue grew by 89%, and the conversion rate increased by 132% – a lift that reflects a smoother path from browse to purchase.

Customer activity also changed. Page views rose by 47%, and more new customers found their way to the brand, with first-time buyers up 69% year-on-year. Organic traffic followed the same trend, with 29% more clicks and a click-through rate that more than doubled.

Taken together, these results show a clear pattern: When the experience becomes faster, clearer and easier to navigate, customers stay longer, explore more and complete more purchases.
